Rhythm Guide: Imaabs – Descifrar | NAAFI

Chilean producer Imaabs released his debut album Descifrar on Mexico City-label NAAFI and is this week’s highlight in our Rhythm Guide.

Recorded and composed in Santiago de Chile between November 2018 and March 2021, the album – which spans ambient, pop, techno, reggaeton, noise and more – relates to “transitions, affections, precarious loves; disconnected yet connected at the same time. The flows of images, emojis, memes, memories, desires; fragments that flood the ways of perceiving and bonding.”
