Rhythm Guide: Oxóssi – Empty Kisses EP | Manuka

This brand new addition to our Rhythm Guide comes from LA-based producer Oxóssi, who released his Empty Kisses EP last month on Manchester-label Manuka.

The three-tracker opens steady with Empty Kisses, a track with raw two-step drums and beautiful female vocal samples on top. We things are really starting to get interested is when Closure comes in. Starting with mesmerizing pads and vocals, the track turns into a proper dancefloor killer with emotional layers that brings in many different dimensions. Track 3, Vou Que Vou is a heavyweight too, featuring sub heavy 808’s, Baile Funk and trap music influences. Big tip!
